Waste to Energy

Among the Waste to Energy applications where the reciprocating engine is used, one of the most common is in waste water sewage treatment plants. The power and heat produced by the CHP system is used in the water treatment plant process when producing the biogas which is then burned in the engines to produce energy.
Power generation using landfill gases from landfill gas collection systems installed in garbage dumps is another of the applications in which Guascor gas engines have shown great flexibility and performance. Due to the great fuel flexibility, Guascor Energy Engines are available for running with different gases such as syngas, pyrolysis gas or gas produced by biomethanization processes.
